Who are we?
WDI AG is a specialist company dealing in high-quality electronic components and systems for industry. We place a lot of focus on applications in aviation and space travel, medical electronics and communications technology. WDI is a successful distributor, representing numerous international manufacturers; we specialise in particular in passives, electromechanical components and frequency-control-products - it is in these fields that we offer our customers product know-how stretching over nearly 20 years.
History
Having previously worked as an independent agent for US manufacturer, DALE Electronics (now part of the Vishay Group) for almost ten years, Mr. Wilfried P. Dunger founded WDI in 1988. This also explains the strong focus - still much in evidence today - on passives and resistor products in particular. At the end of the 1990s, the range of products we distributed was gradually and systematically developed - agreements were reached with other manufacturers in the field of passive and electromechanical components. Today, the company has distribution agreements with companies such as BOURNS, KOA, PIHER, TT ELECTRONICS, EUROQUARTZ, RALTRON and many more besides.

WDI tailors the products it distributes to take account of innovations and the changing requirements of the market. Not only that: we also offer expert consulting know-how coupled with direct access to the technology and the developments of the manufacturers we represent.
